One place setting at a time. This page shows how it looked.
- Hand them one piece at a time — plate first, then napkin, then the fork.
- Say the name of the thing as you hand it over. Nothing more.
- When the setting is done, say thank you the way you would to anyone who helped.
The fork on the wrong side is still a table that got set. Leave it where they put it and sit down to eat.
