The job
Two shallow boxes, one stack of safe mail.
- Put the stack down and name the two piles out loud: "keep" and "toss".
- Open one envelope yourself so the shape of the job is clear, then let them carry on.
- Read a catalog page together if they stop on one. The stopping is allowed.
If everything ends up in the keep pile, everything gets kept. You can quietly recycle it later.
