Slower than feels natural. Long gaps.

| Let them feel it before you use it | "Feel how warm that is." | Rest it across their open palms and wait. |
| One hand at a time | Name what you are doing, softly, once. | Shoulders dropping. Breathing that slows. That is the whole aim. |
| Finish without hurry | "There. That's better." | Stay a minute after you are done. Leaving quickly undoes some of it. |
